Helping the geriatric population was instilled in me from a young age.  I have memories of riding my bike to the local senior program twice a week to help serve meals. As a young adult, I took the bus from New Jersey to New York City to help my grandfather get to his chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  It was experiences like these that drove me toward a career in health care.

I have been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in New York State for the past 15+ years and have worked in health care facility operations longer than that. While every facility operates differently, the constant in all of them is the lack of information and transparency for everyday people. My goal in founding Ally Care Solutions is to change that constant.  

Becoming an educated consumer of the nursing home industry and choosing the right facility is only the first step of the process.  Once admitted, issues may arise during your loved one’s stay. Not only can I help navigate you through problems, I am available to step in on your loved one’s behalf and help work with the facility towards a solution.  

Getting lawyers, calling state agencies, and threatening lawsuits seem to be the most common ways that families deal with issues in nursing homes.  However what many don’t realize is that none of these avenues address the root cause of the problems, nor do they prevent the problems from happening again.
